It didn't exactly come to Karl Lagerfeld in a vision—more of "an electronic flash in my head at five o'clock one morning. Silver and pastel," he said. "It's the first time in my whole career I've done a collection without black or navy. There's not one gold button."
This Couture collection screams "ladies who do lunch" turned in to robots. It's interesting... there's so many textures; twills, linens, silk etc. but some how even with all these warm type textures, the over all collection looks very cold and sterile. The box silos, square shoulder pads, metallic stocking and silver booties and fingerless gloves only support the next generation of Stepford Wives look. (but i do love the hair bows!)
