As we know, Annie Leibovitz faced the deadline of paying back her $24 Million dollar loan or loosing all the rights to her photography archive. Leibovitz, it was reported on Spet. 11, has won a reprieve. Art Capital, the high-class pawnshop that had legal possession of her entire archive and all of her real estate as of Sept. 8, withdrew its lawsuit. In a joint statement, Leibovitz and Art Capital said they had an agreement that "extends the maturity date for the $24 million loan" that was due, and that Leibovitz had managed to buy back her real estate and her photography copyrights. Being a designer, I understand how precious it is own your retain your own designs and this case her negatives/film. So to celebrate, I wanted to share the Disney Dream Ads that she's been working on for the past few years. They are beautiful, whimsical and above all fashion statements.
