While fashionistas drool over Spring 2010 collections from New York Fashion Week, frugalistas on the West Coast are trying to figure out what to wear for Fall 2009. Instead of hitting the mall, dig through your closet for your unwanted wears and bring it over to Swap! Not Shop!, a clothing exchange hosted by Homeygrown. This Saturday, September 19th, $5 and a bag of clothes will get you in the door and into the mountain ranges of swappables, all up for grabs. Dig deeply, because you might just find your newest favorite frock.
Clothing swaps are a refreshing way to update your wardrobe for almost nothing, and…leftovers are donated to charity. Helping the earth, the community, and the closet has never been so fun and easy…on the wallet!
