Beauty foods: Eat yourself beautiful

Never heard the expression, beauty is on the inside? Well it’s true!! And I’m not talking about your personality but about what you eat every day. You may not want to admit it after eating that whole bag of chips but what you eat is reflected on your skin. The good thing is that you can influence it, so let me show you which beauty foods are good for you.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Beside having amazing healing properties, apple cider vinegar keeps skin supple. It's heavy concentration of enzymes helps peel off dead skin cells. It breaks down fat and helps food digest properly.

Carrots
Maintain the outer layer of the skin to prevent premature aging. What you'll find in is the same as you'll get in Retin A.

Cheese
To ensure a happy smile, add a slice or two of hard cheeese into your diet. Choose Swiss, cheddar, or gouda to block bacteria in the mouth and prevent cavities.

Citrus Fruits
Hold the skin cells together by forming collagen. Collagen cannot be added to the skin topically, which is why fruits and fruit juices are such an important part of the daily diet.

Cranberries
Keep urinary tract lining healthy.

Wheat Germ
If you want to get rid of pimples quickly and efficiently, make sure to include two or three tablespoons a day in your diet. Add it to cereal, yogurt, and cottage cheese.

You should choose foods that you enjoy, of course, but you need to include the following:

Vegetables
Three to five servings daily. Try to include one serving of raw, leafy greens.

Meat
Have no more than three three ounce servings a day. Cut off all fat. Try to make two servings of turkey or chicken. One serving of fish a day is ideal.

Fruits
Two to three servings daily. A 1/2 cup of chopped or sliced fruit is a serving. Fruit salad

Dairy
At least two servings daily. A serving would be eight ounces of milk or yogurt.

Fats
Salad dressing, cooking oil, butter, and mayonnaise should be limited to two servings a day.

Blake Lively talks about Gossip Girl and ...

Blake Lively says girls aren't only catty on her hit CW show Gossip Girl - they're mean in real life, too.

In February's Vogue, she recalls entering a private school in Los Angeles in second grade.

"It was the only school where people were just downright mean to me," she says. "They would make fun of my clothes."
Lively says her love of offbeat fashion came from her mother, Georgia, who'd often take her to boutiques and vintage stores and tailor adult clothes to fit her.
"She just did that because she was so creative and because she didn't want me to be dressed in big T-shirts cinched with a plastic clip like all the rest of the kids," says the actress.

She now thanks the Gossip Girl wardrobe crew for honing her fashion sense.
"The more they work with me and see my style, and the more I learn about fashion, the more input I have," she says. "It's more collaborative now than it was in the beginning because then I had no idea what I was doing."



Of Gossip Girl, she says, "the fashion is just unbelievable. You can watch our show on mute and be entertained."

Lively says she loves her character Serena's NYC look.
"Just being here, walking around, you pick it up really quickly," she says. "In New York, you put on skinny jeans and riding boots and a leather coat and handbag, and you take on that posture and character. It becomes very natural."

I actually actually love the first dress had in the gallery, but I can see where the argument is coming from. A lot of people are assaulted because they say it glamorizes eating disorders and the ‘pro-ana’ movement.

On a killer title of “Sexy Anna Rexia,” the makers of 2d costume must have thought they had a winner. It is a skintight black dress on protruding bones. I love how this looks, but hate the name.
